It's been quite awhile since i opened my good old rusty, beat up, pages-falling-out-all-over-the-place metal bible. So, recently, when i decided to go old school after almost a year since upgrading to le most wonderful, awesometastic, super
gaya-mengaya-maya iTouch bible in my pocket, i was greeted by a pleasant surprise. The scent of the past... The sweet smell of fond memories and whiff of those i can't quite recall. The bible smelt like something i might have had, someone i must have known, or someplace i might have been at some point of my life. But try as i might, i just couldn't pinpoint who or what or where it was.
Funny how i never noticed that my old bible had always smelled like it had been scented until i stopped using it for a period of time. Mmmm... now i'm inspired to create a new scent :D Time to pull out my long, looooong (almost) forgotten "kung fu" chemistry skills... which shouldn't be all too bad since i did get a B for
SPM after all... (i think) XP. Besides, i still remember paying the most attention my ADD teenaged brain could possibly give in Chemistry classes when we were going through the chapter on
esters.
And, should i succeed in this crazy endeavour, i think i shall call my scent "Nose-talgia: The Scent of Forgotten Memories".
*** Oh yes... you don't want to know what drove Lim Chu Yaw and Miss Poo to that state of mind (in the photo on bottom right). But if you do, i'm sure there're few who can still share tales from that particular YC Camp X)
